铜(Cu)是植物所必需的一种微量营养元素，但过量的Cu会对植物的生长发育产生毒害作用。植物矿质元素由老组织向新生组织重新利用通过韧皮部的转运完成，植物中Cu的韧皮部转运现象普遍存在，然而韧皮部Cu转运体一直未有报道。
