Ammonia (NH3) is a toxic,highly reactive inorganic gas with a pungent odor under ambient conditions that has been reported to be potentially harmful to public health and the environment in Taiwan.Typically,NH3 is emitted during ammonium nitrate,nitric acid and urea production is present in livestock waste and vehicle exhaust,and is a byproduct of fossil fuel and biomass combustion,petroleum refineries and the refrigeration industry.
