Objective: To study the relationship between the single nucleotide polymorphisms, (SNP) rs 10434G/A, rs833061T/C in vascular endothelial growth factor, (VEGF) gene and their association with oral squamous cell cancer, (OSCC).Methods: A case-control study was carried out to investigate allelic genotypes and frequency of the two VEGF SNP in 316 subjects with OSCC and 696 control individuals.PCR-RFLP was used to analyze the polymorphisms.The correlations between VEGF SNPs and OSCC were evaluated.
