Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of endocrine therapy and chemotherapy as the first-line treatment for lung metastasis in elderly luminal A breast cancer patients.Methods: Ninety-eight patients older than 70 years, with lung metastasis of luminal A breast cancer, were selected for this study.According to their risk score of the predictive model for the incidence of grade Ⅲ to grade Ⅴ chemotherapy toxicity, the patients were divided into two groups, i.e., low-intermediate-risk group and high-risk group.We compared the efficacy and safety of patients in both groups, some patients received endocrine therapy and others received chemotherapy.We also compared the efficacy and safety ofaromatase inhibitor (AI) and tamoxifen(TAM), single-agent and combination chemotherapy.
