@@ 1．IntroductionAbout 30 years ago nitronyl nitroxides were synthesized as one ofmany kinds of stable free radicals used for spin labeling of small molecules．Due to their new capability of trapping nitric oxide nitronyl nitroxides have recently received considerable attention in biological systems．Nitrony1 nitroxides were reported not only as useful therapeutic ingredients for different virus infections and against endotoxin shockbut also as useful reagent for biology system．Recently it was found that nitrony1 nitroxides reacted with oxygen free radicals such as·OH，H2O2and O2protecting endothelial cells from the free radicals damage．
