Multicomponent bicyclizations (MBCs) have emerged as effective methods for the assembly of complex cyclic structures by the combination of two or more distinct reactions into a one-pot transformation.MBCs can not only enhance annulation efficiency but also avoid time-consuming isolation of intermediates and minimize the generation of waste.In recent years, enormous efforts have been made by conducting multicomponent bicyclizations toward the formation of a series of azaheterocycles.1,2 Our interest focused on bicyclizations reactions, and a series of novel heterocyclic compounds involving in more complex structures with forming two new rings and in part original nucleus were synthesized based on MBCs.3 The starting materials have been maximized to convert into the desired compounds, avoiding time-consuming and energy-costing processes that involve multi-step syntheses.So, these reactions have the advantage of atom economy, high synthetic efficiency and environmental friendliness, which offer a valuable addendum to methodology for the synthesis of azaheterocycles.
