  To date,increased concerns about the consumption of trans fatty acids (TFAs) because of the related health risks have led to demand for reforming the conventional edible oil hydrogenation technology.A new diaphragm electrochemical system has been devised and tested for the moderate temperature and atmospheric pressure hydrogenation in this study.
