This study investigated the proximate composition and phytochemistry of cajanus cajan cultivars from five state in Nigeria.Analyses revealed levels of moisture (11.7-11.9%),oil (2.4-2.5g/100g),crudeprotein (22.7-22.8g/100g) and crude fibre (5.3-5.5g/100g) in these cultivars.However,the ash content of 7.1-7.5g/100g in Lagos,Ogun,and Osun varieties were significantly.
