Effects of Oil Extracts from Porphyra crispata toward 3T3-L1 Preadipocytes Wei-Lun He and Zwe-Ling Kong Cellular Immunology Laboratory,Institute of Food Science,Taiwan Ocean University Obesity is a major risk factor for diabetes,hyperlipidemia,hypertension,cardiovascular diseases,and metabolic syndrome.Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) of marine origin predicted to limit diet-induced obesity and antioxidants could reduced the oxidative stress which induced by obesity.
