The flexural-torsional buckling behavior of cold-formed steel beams is very complicated at elevated temperatures and a good understanding and knowledge of the topic is very necessary.Although considerable research has been conducted on the flexural-torsional buckling behavior of hot-rolled steel members and stainless steel beams at elevated temperatures, It is necessary to study the cold-formed steel members at uniform and non-uniform elevated temperature. The Direct Strength Method (DSM) may be to calculate the distortional buckling strength of steel cold-formed thin-walled (CF-TW) members with uniform and non-uniform elevated temperature distributions. The assessment is carried out by checking the DSM calculation results with numerical simulation results. This paper proposes a modification to the distortional buckling curve to enable DSM to deal with distortional buckling.in columns with non-uniform temperature distributions.
