An investigation on the specific charge and droplets velocity of ethanol from small-scale combustors with different structures was conducted experimentally and theoretically.The capillary steel tubes with inner diameter of 0.9mm were used as the nozzles of the small-scale combustors.One electrospray system applied the classical capillary-mesh structure; another used the capillary-ring-mesh structure.
