Screen products have been generally used tor protecting indoors from outdoor foreign materials and bugs.Previously mostly used materials for the screen are aluminium or stainless-steel.However, their the weak chemical resistances and low dimensional stabilities result in low durability and reliability of the screen product.In order to solve this shortcomings of the metalic screen products, composite screen product made of glassfibers, synthetic fibers, and polymer resins.In this study, we produced poly(vinyl chloride) coated glassfiber by yam-coating technology instead of conventionally used dip-coating technology in order to have rounder shape of the cross-section of coated filament, and the coated filaments were woven into screen product.
