　　Deep brain stimulation (DBS) at sensory thalamus and periventricular gray (PVG)/ periacqueductal gray (PAG) has been used for neuropathic pain treatment.Multiple neural oscillations in sensory thalamus and PVG/PAG has been found involving in pain perception, but there is still little investigation on the direct link between the neurophysiological activity and the pain relief by DBS at these nuclei.
