Electronic guns performance greatly affects the reliability of TWTs.This paper studied the thermal-stain distribution of one X-band grid-controlled space TWTs electronic gun in working state.Research showed the influence of thermal expansion on the geometric relationship of cathode cake and grids,as well as the cathode cakes curvature.
