We prepared a new class of polybenzoxazine-POSS nanocomposites with network structures by reacting the multifunctional benzoxazine group of POSS (OBZPOSS), which was synthesized from octa-azido functionalized POSS (OVBN3-POSS) with 3,4-dihydro-3-(prop-2-ynyl)-2H-benzo[e][1,3] oxazine (P-pa) via a click reaction.Incorporation of the silsesquioxane core into the polybenzoxazine matrix could significantly hinder the mobility of the polymer chains and enhance the thermal stability of these hybrid materials.
