　　Mild hypothermia and cold-inducible protein RBM3 can protect neural cells from nitric oxide(NO)-induced apoptosis.Meanwhile,it is known that cyclooxygenase(COX)-2 is upregulated by cold-inducible protein RBM3 in various types of cells.However,it is unclear whether COX-2 contributes to the protective effects of mild hypothermia/RBM3 against NO insults in neural cells.
