　　Aim:To study the beneficial effects of dihydromyricetin (DMY) on hydrogen peroxide-induced (H2O2) injury and apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs).Methods:VSMCs were seperated from rat aortas.The survival rate of VSMCs were identified by trypan blue and immunohistochemistry.Different concentrations of H2O2 were added to the medium of VSMCs for 16 hours.Cell injury was measured by cell viability analysis.Morphologic changes of apoptosis was measured by nuclear Hoechst 33342 staining.
