A new series of multitarget-directed edaravone derivatives were designed and synthesized.Rational pharmcophore-directed design strategy was undertaken and antioxidant edaravone was combined with the aminopropoxyphenyl moiety is the key pharmcophore of both H3 receptor antagonists and Aβ aggregation inhibitors.
