Systematic Analysis of Anti Tumor Metastatic and Anti Angiogenic Effects of"Yanhusuo San"

　　"Yanhusuo San" (YHSS), which consists ofYanhusuo (Rhizoma Corydalis) and Ezhu (Rhizoma Curcumae), is an archaic Chinese medicine prescription.It was firstly recorded in "Ji Feng Pu Ji Fang (Volume Twenty)" and "Zhu Shi Ji Yah Fang (Volume Ten)" in the Song dynasty, and used for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, and promoting circulation of qi to relieve pain in women.Considering the history of clinical use of ezhu and yanhusuo, YHSS should have high potential clinical value in terminal cancer therapy.The goal of this study is to find out the active compounds in YHSS and to explore the possible underlying mechanism of the anti-metastasis and anti-angiogenesis activities.Therefore, we studied the anti-cancer related effects including the anti-proliferation, inducing apoptosis, anti cell metastasis, and inducing cell differentiation of extracts, fractions and the compounds isolated from YHSS systematically.
