　　To eliminate the potential menace of high concentration of copper(Cu(Ⅱ))discharged into aqueous solutions,tri-ammonium functionalized mesoporous delta manganese dioxide(NNN-MnO2)is synthesized by post-synthesis grafting of trimethoxysilyl propyl diethylenetriamine(TPD)onto delta manganese dioxide(δ-MnO2)surface and used as Cu(Ⅱ)scavenger.
