Lymphoid formations of anorectal zone are the important components of the system of realization of immune protection.The objective of our research is the studying of the development of lymphoid tissue of the anal canal in the prenatal ontogenesis.Materials and methods: the work was done on 93 samples of the rectum of human fetuses obtained in the result of medical abortions in term of 12-36 weeks.The research was approved by the Ethical Committee.
