Critical applications are typically based on fixed distributed system archi tectures,such as centralized and top-down architectures,and they merely in terconnect huge number of software components using network protocols.However,the complexity and dynamism of distributed systems are beyond our ability to build and manage systems through conventional approaches.Fur thermore,the requirements of applications or systems change from time to time.
