从二十世纪七八十年以来,各门类艺术之间的界限变得模糊起来,由于综合材料和公共图像的渗透,无论在造型形式上还是文化观念上都对金属焊接雕塑起到了深化内涵和扩张边界的作用。正是在这样的背景下,我试图通过阅读日常生活和历史沉积中的公共图像信息,在金属焊接雕塑与公共图像的直接对应中,并借助于公共图像传译摹写的特点,建立一种融合了文化生态关系的金属焊接雕塑的艺术表达方式,使得金属焊接雕塑的形式特征、形态关系和主题内容在宽泛的社会普遍知识的情势下生成和变化。
