  Combining CCD technology with image processing analysis, virtual instrument based high-temperature jet measurement technology is proposed in this paper.Image acquisition as well as real-time display of the jet was achieved by using general image acquisition card under the LabVIEW platform.Then, the relationship between the grayscale and temperature field was established.A powerful image processing system IMAQ Vision was applied to obtain the distribution image of jet temperature field.Experimental results show that the proposed temperature measurement method is low-cost, high accuracy and simple operation, and it has broad application prospects, such as the thermal power plants, metal welding, smelting and other occasions.
