CGA-N46 is a derived peptide from N terminus of human Chromogranin A(CGA).Our previous investigations proved that CGA-N46 had antifungal activities to Candidas. It may be a candidate for clinical candidiasis. In order to provide basis for its development, the action mechanism of CGA-N46 on Candida Krusei were studied in this study. The results of the experiments showed that the inhibition to C.Krusei happened at the logarithmic growth phase. It had no effects on cell wall integrity and membrane permeability.
