Friction is occupies a great proportion in the total resistance of the underwater vehicles,accounting for about 70％-80％.Most of the surface area of the water flows are turbulent,so the research on the turbulent boundary layer drag reduction is significant.First of all,reduce resistance,increase the sailing speed; second is to save fuel and energy.It is self-evident importance of its military significance.
