Metabolite discovery and identification is an important task in early drug discovery studies.High performance liquid chromatography in combination with electrospray ionization mass spectrometers (HPLC-MS) has emerged as a key technology for this challenge [1, 2].Time of flight mass spectrometry (TOF MS) is usually a method of choice for the metabolite studies because it can provide data with high resolution, high mass accuracy and true isotope pattern, at the same time, for identification of metabolites, and small molecules in general [3].
