圈养扬子鳄野放初期的家域及活动规律的初步研究

人工养殖的濒危动物的野外放归是维持和壮大其野外种群数量的重要途径和手段.2007年6月中旬,将2雄4雌6条成年扬子鳄(Alligator sinensis)释放到崇明东滩湿地公园.释放地点为公园内的一个面积约为4.5 ha的小型湖泊,湖中有岛.采用无线电遥测技术测定其到11月底的活动范围.其中1雄1雌野放后不久意外死亡,剩下的3条雌性扬子鳄在遥测期间均以初始放归地点一小湖为活动中心,另一条雄性扬子鳄则从8月份开始主要在紧邻小湖的芦苇荡中活动.6月份的遥测显示,野放的扬子鳄以小湖为中心对周围生境进行探索适应,7月下旬到9月初是活动高峰时期,远离小湖的遥测位点主要在这两个时期出现.
