Metal nanoparticle/polymer nanocomposites with compositionally tailorable features have been intensively investigated because they have markedly unique properties based on the combination of quantum size effect of embedded metal nanoparticles and chemically tailorable structures of polymer matrices.Methods for deliberately controlling the size, concentration, and dispersibility of metal phase in the composite films are necessary for optimally harnessing their emergent physical properties.
