　　The circadian clock regulates many cellular processes.Mitochondria play essential roles in metabolism, and are the major sites of reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in the cell.Previously, it was shown that the clock regulates mitochondrial functions via driving daily changes in mitochondrial NAD+ level and Sirt3 activity.
