Theranostics,the combination of therapeutics and diagnostics,is a recently proposed concept aiming at personalized medicine and real-time monitoring of the therapeutic process.[1] In recent years,imaging-guided therapy based on noble metal nanoparticles have been explored for potential applications in cancer theranostics,owing to their unique physical–chemical properties.[2] Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering(SERS)offers an excellent platform for the development of diagnostic assays and optical imaging tools.[3] However,up to date,SERS-guided cancer theranostics still remain to be explored.Herein,we prepared a kind of silver alkane thiolate salt(AgSR)functioned with RGD,which can generate a lot of toxic silver nanoparticles though photolysis reaction under Raman laser irradiation for simultaneously real-time monitoring and treatment of cancer cell.
