Object Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a regulatory approved modality for treating a variety of malignant.It utilizes the destructive power of reactive oxygen species generated via visible light irradiation of a photosensitive dye,to induced oxidative stress and bring about their obliteration.The photosensitizers used in the process of photodynamic therapy play an important role in its antitumor effect.Hence,its necessary to develop a stable cell model with high-specificity and sensitivity to assess the activity of photodynamic therapy in vitro and screen antitumor lead compounds with ideal photoacitivity.
