本文记述小肢猬虾属一新种，眼镜小肢猬虾Microprosthemapersonatum sp.nov.标本来自中国南海西沙石岛，先保存于中国科学院海洋研究所，海洋生物标本馆.该种区别于该属其他种的主要特征是，额角基部向两侧突出形成明显的眼盖.本文提供了印度西太平洋小肢猬虾属的检索表.
