End-carboxy hyperdispersant (ECH) was synthesized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and the effect of ECH on mechanical properties for SF/LGF/PP composites was disscused.And the impact fracture surface of SF/LGF/PP composites and the interfacial compatibility between fibers and pp were analyzed.Experimental results showed that the impact strength and flexural strength of SF/LGF/PP composites modified with ECH (2w% of fibers) were 21.5 percent and 9.7 percent higher than that of unmodified systems, respectively.In addition, addition of a few of ECH was helpful to improve the thermal properties of SF/LGF/PP composites.
