Lycoricidine is an alkaloids compound,which is composed of A,B,C three fused six-membered ring and nitrogen atom.It shows potent activity such as anticancer,antiviral,acetylcholinesterase inhibition.Because of the wide range of biological activity,it has been the focus of considerable attention.A recent study shows that under the low concentrations,lycoricidine can disturb the tumor cells actin skeleton,and works in prostate cancer cells PC-3,the mitochondria of human breast cancer cells MCF-7,the cell apoptosis protease-8 and the cell apoptosis protease-10,then inducing apoptosis.Therefore,the synthesis of lycoricidine is extraordinarily useful and constructive in anticancer drug develepment.
