In order to evaluate the anti-hypercholesterolemic effects of caffeic acid (3,4-di(OH)-cinnamate),one of dietary phenolic compounds,had been supplemented in mice fed the high-cholesterol diet.Caffeic acid is found in various plants;pears,basil,rosemary,coffee and so on,and plays important roles as a component of antimitogenic,anticarcinogenic,anti-inflamatory,and immunomodulator in nature.Material and Methods:Thirty male C57BL/6 mice (4-week-old) were used and randomly divided into high-cholesterol (HC) control (AIN-76 diet + 1% cholesterol),lovastatin (HC diet + 0.02% lovastatin,wt/wt),caffeic acid (HC diet + 0.02% caffeic acid,wt/wt) groups.

以某电筒厂铬电镀工人86名为对象,通过询问、体格检查、鼻咽部检查、嗅觉测定、皮肤检査、肺功能测定及空气铬酸浓度测定,结果发现在空气几何平均浓度0.011~0.032CrO3mg / m3之间,21%的接触者出现鼻粘膜的糜烂,但未见到鼻粘膜溃疡的反应,肺功能测定值接触组与对照组相比,差别无显著性,皮肤检查未发现铬溃疡与接触性皮炎的增多,主观症状主要为口鼻刺激症状、皮肤刺激症状及神经衰弱症状。
未成年和成年615小鼠,各设对照组和5、25、125mg/m~3浓度的实验组,每组雌雄各5只。实验组静式吸入纯苯蒸气4周,每周5天,每天2小时。结果发现从 WBC 和淋巴细胞数(LC)降低计算
