　　Cerium doped yttrium aluminum garnet Y3Al5O12∶Ce3+(YAG∶Ce3+) is the most widely used yellow phosphor in white LEDs.Many wet chemical methods have been used to synthesize and control the shape, size, and distribution of YAG∶Ce3+ powders[1,2].In this study, monodispersed micro spherical YAG∶Ce3+ yellow phosphor particles were prepared successfully by the RF thermal plasma from an aqueous metals nitrate precursor.
