Approaching the glass transition of a metallic glass,the dramatic change of the dynamic properties still remains elusive from the microscopic aspect.In CuZr metallic glasses icosahedral clusters have been identified as the basic local structural motif,and their tendency to form network is believed to be responsible for the dynamic slowdown and glass transition.
