Radionuclides provide the basis for highly sensitive molecular imaging.PET and SPECT imaging can detect drug targets and monitor the pharmacodynamics of drug target interaction.Because of the high sensitivity only minimal amounts of mass need to be injected which makes molecular imaging with radionuclides exceptionally save.
