Hunonglingzhi No.1 variety which was successfully bred by Shanghai Institute of Edible Fungi and authorized by the relevant government agency was studied.The results demonstrated that this variety was different from other varieties based on RAPD analysis and somatic incompatibility.Meanwhile, it also showed some important biological properties that it grows faster than the original strain and that its production of basidiospores is much higher than other varieties which highly produce spores, even up to 50% than the latter, and that its period of spore collection even continued 2-3 months.Whats more, it is more disease-resistant than other varieties.
