  Analysis of the acoustic radiation or scattering from elastic structures in heavy fluid is a classical problem of underwater acoustics.Analytical solutions to structural-acoustic interaction problems are available only for simple geometric structures with simple boundary conditions.Analytical solutions to practical problems with complicated geometries remain unavailable.Thus,efficient numerical methods need to be developed.
