Expression of cytokeratins in paragangliomas

　　Some paragangliomas (PG) show architectural features reminiscent of neuroendocrine tumors (NET).AE1/AE3 was purported to be a specific marker used to distinguish them, which was negative in the former, while positive in the later.But some studies showed that PG have indeed occasionally exhibited immunoreactivity for keratin and represents a potential source of immunohistologic misinterpretation in diagnosis.No research on expression of a panel of cytokeratins in PG in our knowledge.The aim of present study was to clarify cytokeratins expression in paraganglioma (PG) and neuroendocrine tumor (NET).
