Spirulina is a blue green algae and gaining more attention for the treatment of wide spectrum of diseases.It is known to have high protein content and natural vitamins.Some of the properties of spirulina experimentally proved include antiviral and anticancer effects.This study was investigated to clarify the antioxidant effect by measuring antioxidant capacity using 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and phycocyanin content of spirulina-added noodles.
