About 50% of all breast cancers are linked to nutrition disequilibrium and 5% linked to germ-line mutation in BRCA1/BRCA2 breast cancer hereditary predisposition-genes (about 2/3 of them due to BRCA1, 1/3 to BRCA2).Primary prevention of breast cancer is difficult to set up and to be proven efficient Secondary prevention in healthy women at high-risk of breast cancer is more promising. In this context we develop experimental and preclinical models of breast cancer nutriprevention focused on phyto-oostrogens.Phyto-oestrogens (found in soya foods or in leguminous plants) like genistein or daidzein with their ambivalent oestrogen effects are amongst the most powerful potent breast cancer protective nutrients.
