We study analytic continuations of quantum cohomology under simple flips.We reduce the problem to local models and then solve the local model case by block diagonalization along the vanishing cycles.One of the main steps is to show that the vanishing cycles correspond exactly to the directions where the Dubrovin connection under analytic continuations acquires irregular singularities.This talk is based on a joint project with Yuan-Pin Lee(Utah)and Hui-Wen Lin(NTU).
