　　A gradient SiC coating on C/C composite was developed by using a novel process which was the combination of plasma spray with reaction-formed heat-treatment.Microstructure and phase composition of the coating were characterized.The ablation resistance of the coating was evaluated by plasma flame and H2-O2 flame, respectively.
