Compulsory Education Law is the law promulgated by the national legislature, which stipulate that it is imperative for children and adolescents of school age to accept school education of certain years, and that the state,society and families are under an obligation to ensure the right of school-age children to receive education.As the nation, society and families are all involved in the obligation of the education, so the education is called "compulsory education".This paper looks into the base of comparing compulsory education of China and UK.The purpose of comparing is to find out the generality of successful experiences of the two nations so that some suggestions can be made on the reform and ever-improvement of their compulsory education.
