First, We review the main results of the Camassa-Holm equation, Camassa-Holm hierarchy, generalized Camassa-Holm equation, Two component Camassa-Holm equation and Short pulse equation, then we point out that there are at least two kinds of the integrable soliton equation, one kind of which contain the famous equation such as KDV, Nonlinear Schrodinger equation, SineGordan equation We can get n soliton solutions by using "Tau function"; The other kind equation such as Camassa-Holmequation, we can not get "Tau function" directly, Wemust to find a reciprocal transformation to map (x,t) to (y,s) , then get solutions in (y,s) space.This is a new trends in integrable soliton theory.
