We discuss the Boltzmann equation with the external forcing caused by the timeperiodic source and establish the existence and asymptotic stability of the time-periodic solution that has the same period as the external forcing, under some smallness condition.The proof uses the time-decay estimate obtained by the spectral analysis of the linearized forcing-free problem.We will also discuss the case when the external forcing is due to the time-periodic potential force.This is a joint work with Tong Yang and Huijiang Zhao.
