Blast furnace Iron making is a vital step of steel production,and it has been influencing the whole steel industry.For iron making,the distribution of furnace burden has played an important role.Thus,it has realistic significance to construct the burden distribution model,and to predict the shape of burden surface in the furnace throat.Considering the situation that monitoring the burden distribution of an 1800m3 bell-less furnace is difficult,this research analyses the basic factors that contribute to the distribution,and constructs the mathematic model of burden distribution.Based on the burden distribution model,this paper focuses on the study of computing method for the 3-Dimensions burden surface profiles.To test the performance of the burden distribution model,this paper proposed a novel evaluation method,which is computing the error between the inverse temperature curve of the furnace throat and burden surface profile.The experimental results show that the studied model in this paper is effective.In addition,to seek for the optimal rule of distribution based on the prediction of burden distribution,and effectively conduct the burden distribution and ore to coke ratio(O/C),and well ameliorate the smelting situation,this research also develops 3-D simulation software of burden distribution of blast furnace.
